Calling fiddle and guitar players who want to play together! Join US-based musicians Gabrielle Macrae and Barry Southern (AKA The Horsenecks) as they share methods and tips for a general approach to playing fiddle and guitar together, incorporating both Appalachian and Bluegrass styles. A great all-rounder to familiarise with Americana styles!

Bring your fiddle or guitar and pretty soon you’ll be playing acoustic favourites together!

harmony singing

Singing is good for the soul and harmony singing even better! Join Lincoln-based singers Sue and Ishani (AKA The Rye Sisters) who will take you through learning parts for a choice Americana song. This informal session is a great introduction to singing if you’ve never tried it or a great way to spend an hour if you have! 

A guaranteed feel-good workshop – before the session is out, you’ll be group singing in perfect harmony!
